         Kershaw LeClercq is the local owner of theCharleston, SC Maid Brigade! Kershaw was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and received his degree in economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He loves spending time with his wife and 2 children in their Mount Pleasant home. Kershaw also enjoys playing the guitar and surfing at Folly Beach in his free time.

          Before his days of green cleaning at Maid Brigade, Kershaw traded agricultural commodities. He wanted to work more directly with customers and employees so he left his job and became a part of the Maid Brigade family. You can find the cleaning team at the Charleston Green Fair where they enjoyed getting to know some of the green-minded people in the community.

            Kershaw believes in acknowledging and rewarding great employees. Yvonne Heyward just completed her 15th year at the Charleston Maid Brigade office. She started off cleaning houses and worked her way up. Yvonne is now in charge of field operations and has been busy setting up a quality and customer bonus program for the spring. If you ask anyone in the office they will tell you that she is a crucial member of their Charleston team. The Charleston office is also planning an office party and happy hour for when they reach their customer goals.

              Giving back is important to Kershaw and that’s why he supports different charities. Crisis Ministries, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, HALOS and the Lowcountry Park Trust are on the list of the organizations Maid Brigade of Charleston gives to. In 2010 they ran a program where they matched donations from their customers and donated the contributions to Crisis Ministries. Kershaw also personally supports the Surfrider Foundation.
