Clients on a recurring service enjoy:
What will the team do each visit?
We offer Standard Services (give link) which we take care of on all visits, and you are welcome to add on Special Services (see link) and Deep Cleaning Tasks as well. We are happy to customize our service for you.
What does Recurring Service Cost?
Here is the range you can expect to pay for recurring visits. Special Services and Enhanced tasks are an additional charge.
What happens if I skip a cleaning? Our rates for recurring service are based on frequency. If you skip a visit and give us at least 2 days’ notice, there’s a $50 skip visit fee. If you do not give us at least 2 days’ notice, you will be charged for the whole visit charge. To avoid paying any fee for a skipped visit, don’t skip a visit.
This is my first time using Maid Brigade. Are there any other fees?
If you are signing up for recurring service, there is a “first visit fee” of $100 in addition to your base price and sales tax. This fee covers your set up in our system and gives you access to our customer portal where you can request schedule changes, add additional services, and customize your notifications (would you like us to email you or text you visit reminders, notices when we are on the way, send special messages to your team).
Does Maid Brigade offer Deep Cleanings
The term, Deep Cleaning is one that’s frequently used in our industry but there’s no set definition for it. We do offer Enhanced Tasks where we clean special areas in more detail than our Regular Service. We have a list of the Enhanced Cleaning Tasks we offer (give link). You are free to have us take care of some or all these tasks along with those on our Standard Task list.
Is the First Visit a “Deep Cleaning”?
We already explained that we don’t offer “Deep Cleanings” but we do offer Enhanced Cleaning Tasks. If you’d like any or all of these Enhanced Cleaning tasks taken care of on the first visit, we’ll set that up. If you want the first visit to be our Standard Tasks, we’ll keep to that list. You’re in control.

Maid Brigade specializes in recurring service and we only offer Single visits on a very limited basis.
How much do Single Cleanings cost?
We keep our schedule open for our recurring clients, Single cleanings are available on a very limited basis. We charge an hourly rate of $90 per hour for this service. The total cost will depend on size, scope, and condition of the home.

How often should I have service? That’s a personal preference. Our happiest customers have us clean on a weekly or every other week basis but monthly works well for small families.
Will the team come the exact same time each cleaning? Our teams usually clean several homes a day. The earliest arrival time is between 8-8:30 and then the rest of arrival times vary a bit depending on time needed to travel and clean. We can offer a preferred 2 hour arrival window.

Do you handle our recycling? Since different towns have different rules, we suggest that customers take care of this themselves. We will remove separated recycling to an outside container as a special service (additional fee applies).
What is electrolyzed water? This technology uses electricity to change the structure of salt and water to create our green cleaning solutions:
Is your PUREcleaning solution non-toxic? Yes, it’s not only safe and non-toxic but it’s Green Seal Certified, Wool Safe Certified, Certified Organic, FDA approved, made from an EPA registered generator, and has no VOCs.
Our green clean certified multi-purpose cleaner is:
What if I want your team to use my traditional cleaning products? We have a lot of confidence in our products but if you have a product that you prefer and will provide, we will typically be fine using it, we just ask you to let us know in advance.
How long have you been focused on green cleaning and why? We’ve been “green cleaning” since before we ever heard the term. When we opened our office in 1996, it didn’t take long for us to see the health problems being caused by traditional cleaning solutions to our staff. Green cleaning products effectively clean without contaminating the air and is safe for our families including children and pets, the environment, as well as our employees.
Is green cleaning as good as toxic chemical cleaning? The quality and effectiveness of safe cleaning products has come a long way since we started using them in 1996. While there are limited situations where a toxic chemical may be what’s needed, we’d put our cleaning solutions up against any commonly used traditional cleaning products.
What do you do to take care of your employees? Our cleaning teams are THE BEST, they work hard to make sure our customers are happy every time we visit. We recognize how important they are to the organization.
Our employees receive:
Tell me about free cleaning supplies for all recurring customers.
There is always wiping and light cleaning to do in between visits, so we make sure every customer receives a supply of our EPA registered green clean cleaning solution and disinfectant to use in between cleanings. That’s right, every time we return, we refill them! Our customers never have to buy cleaning products again.
Do your maids speak English? Will at least one team member speak English? English isn’t the first language of most of our cleaning team members but we make sure they teams have all the necessary information to make sure you get exactly what you want.
Do I need to supply cleaning products and a vacuum? No, we bring all the equipment and supplies needed to clean your home.
These include:
If there’s a service being discussed that would benefit from a product or tool we don’t provide, we will let you know ahead of time.
Should I leave a note if I have special tasks? Please don’t leave notes for our teams. Instead call, email, or text our office with the information so we can make sure it’s added to your cleaning details and taken care of by the team.
What if I’m not happy with the cleaning? Our Happiness Guarantee states: Whether we clean for you one time or regularly, we are committed to providing 5-star service each and every time. If we ever don’t meet your expectations, let us know and we will make it right. Whatever it takes.
What are your one time/seasonal/on call cleaning prices?
We keep our schedule open for our recurring clients, single/seasonal visits are available on a very limited basis. We charge an hourly rate of $90 per hour for this service.
What happens if a Maid Brigade employee breaks something in my house?
No matter how careful we are, sometimes accidents happen. We are insured to handle situations like this. We know there are certain items that cannot be replaced, so please make sure those are put away when we come.
Feather dusters just push dust around so why does Maid Brigade use them?
That’s a misconception, at least if you use the dusters made with high quality ostrich feathers which contain filaments that carry a natural negative charge that attracts dust particles, which have a natural positive charge instead of dispersing it to other areas of the home.
Black feathers that come from the mature ostrich are ideal; they are known for their soft and fluffy texture. They serve as insulation for the bird and are very different from the flat, smooth outer feathers that are common to flying birds.
There are other feather dusters on the market, some that contain chicken feathers or that mimic ostrich feather dusters, but they don’t do anything close to the same type of job.
We aren’t the only one to recommend ostrich feather dusters; they are used by museums and art galleries throughout the world, as well as high end automakers to prepare their cars before paint application.
It is worth noting that if an area is extremely dusty, meaning that dust has accumulated in that particular area for months, it’s a good idea to wipe it down with a wet cloth first or vacuum it. After that, the ostrich feather duster can be used to pick up the remaining dust.
And it’s easy too. Just fill out the form and we’ll be in touch with a no-commitment estimate.
