Golf courses are changing, even become wildlife sanctuaries and places with wildlife corridors! Once places using large amounts of herbicides and fertilizers, golf courses are going green. Audubon International has certified 19 Oregon golf courses as wildlife sanctuaries. Many golf courses managers are saying that sustainability has become an important part of the future of golf, and they are now encouraging native pollinators, natural habitat, natural grasses that work well in the specific habitat of the location of the courses, and less water use.
