What IS Green Cleaning?

Many times I am asked “what is green cleaning”? The answer is that green cleaning means we are cleaning to safeguard human health while having a minimal effect on the environment.  For so many years the needs of humans has been more important than how all these “needs”, conveniences or technological advances would impact our health and the planet. Maid Brigade saw an opportunity to do something that would be good for our customer’s health, employee’s health and the health of our precious earth.

In the past we cleaned for appearance by using chemicals and tools that were efficient and productive. These house cleaning chemicals and tools made a house look good and smell good but they were putting harmful chemical residues into the air that the customer, pets and employees would be breathing every day. Many of these products would then find their way into the ground water systems and cause environmental damage. We still clean for appearance but now we are using green house cleaning products and specialized tools that cause little to no health issues and have a reduced impact on the environment.
